Deep Sea Motors

Low power, high torque motors where the housing is made in titanium for long time deployments. The motor is oil filled and pressure compensated, and has been tested down to 650 bar. The motor \¥as originally designed for use in systems where po,ver is supplied from battery banks.

Several models are available \,vith different power, torque and speed. All models are brushless servomotors, with different gear ratio.

To reduce risk of noise interference to sensitive echo sounders and other sensitive sensors close by, the motor controller is placed inside the motor Only DC power and a RS232 control signal is present in the motor cable.

This motor is delivered \ With standard depth rate of 150 Bar, but are also available in D version rated to 600 Bar.
